Bekir Bora Dedeoğlu received his bachelor's degree from Mustafa Kemal University, Department of Tourism Management and Hotel Management in 2010, his master's degree from Mustafa Kemal University, Department of Tourism Management and Hotel Management in 2012, and his PhD degree from Akdeniz University, Department of Tourism Management in 2016. Bekir Bora Dedeoğlu started to work as a research assistant in Nevşehir University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Tourism Management in 2011. Since 2019, he has been working as an associate professor in the Department of Tourism Guidance at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University.
In 2022 and 2023, he was included in the list of influential scientists in 2% of the world based on Scopus data.
As of the beginning of 2023, he has 69 articles. 36 of these articles were published in journals indexed in SSCI and SCI-Expanded, 9 in ESCI and Scopus, 10 in TRDizin, and 14 in other international indexes. As of 2023, he has 25 international and one national proceedings. He has completed 7 master's theses and 1 doctoral thesis. In addition, he is still actively conducting 7 master's theses and 6 doctoral theses.
